Can I also just point out that my current combination of terminal singleness, a job in a bank and the suggestion provided by this thread will probably be my downfall now? Thanks a lot...0

Ask to borrow a colleague's computer. No audit trail to you on those nice young ladies, then! What would William Shatner do?0 -
Wouldn't work too well on a counter...

I met an admittedly very sex man at the bank when I opened my account. We flirted quite a bit but I thought nothing of it. Today he has phoned me, he got my number from the bank computer screen. He wants to take me out on a date.  :A
I think it's a computer misuse by accessing someone elses details for personal use. If you complaint, the bank clerk may be under desciplanary action.

It isn't like the OP is complaining, is it. Anyway, he could have made a note of her number whilst in the process of opening the account and therefore might not have actually accessed her details for personal use at a later date.
Btw, I didn't mean to thank you, I pressed the wrong button.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. If she's not, why the hell is she bothering us with it?It isn't like the OP is complaining, is it.
That would still have been [ab]using the company's data. Instant dismissal offence, I would have thought.Anyway, he could have made a note of her number whilst in the process of opening the account and therefore might not have actually accessed her details for personal use at a later date.0 -
I know someone who got fired for this but ONLY because the customer complained about it. But if you're game, I would go for it!!
Think about this, he's risking his job for you
You might just have to pretend this first date was the time you met for the purposes of his manager + colleagues
