Dear all, stupidly I got a virus on my Windows XP computer. I tried various different methods of getting rid of it, and eventually got frustrated so formatted my pc. I can now not get onto the internet of my computer. It is connected to virgin media broadband with windows XP and is connected though Ethernet. I thought it may be an issue of needing virgin media CV but after speaking to the technical team, they said I needed to install the drives for my network card. Unfortunately, I do not know what network card I have, so how do I go about finding out? (without opening the pc) and Where would I find the drive?
Thanks would be given to all post in this thread!
Please help! I need it ASAP!
