Cheap printer for a Dell computer

Hey, basically I have a Dell 720 printer but the inks for both colour and black & white cost a total of around £55. Im thinking of buying a new printer which may be cheaper than buying the inks but can you install any printer onto a dell computer. Also does anyone know where I can buy cheap ink for my dell printer if I can not find a cheaper printer elsewhere?
