Question... Whats the Capital of Iceland ?.

    Answer.....About £3.50.

Heard that one on Terry Wogan this morning along with:

What does an Icelandic bank and a streaker have in common?

    Frozen assets

I heard it was Botchit & Creepaway (Iceland branch)

Yea there's a whole page of them in today's Daily Mail!

    Overheard in a city bar:
This credit crunch is worse than divorce. I've lost half my assets and I've still got my wife!

  • Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling and Peter Mandelson are flying to an economic summit. You know, says Mandelson, I could throw a £50 note out the window and make someone very happy. Well, says Alistair, I could throw 5 £10 notes out the window and make 5 people very happy. So Gordon speaks up, I could throw 10 £5 notes out the window, he says, and make 10 people very happy. The pilot rolls his eyes and says, you know, I could throw all of you out the window and make the whole country very happy!:rotfl:

I think :j would describe the most of the country.;)

But back to topic, would it not be illegal for a British law firm to take up Iceland's case? Surely that's aiding and abetting terrorists?

Could Gordon not have dealt with this in a more diplomatic way, rather than always jumping in with his 2 left feet?

The first COD war was about fish. Ironically these new hostilities are still about COD. (Cash On Delivery)
