I have cut my own hair for years after loads of terrible haircuts from hairdressers and loads of money spent, in recent years I have taken advice from the internet and the tv, I now always have the haircut I want (and colour as well) as I seem to be the only one who understands my hair. I also attach my own hair extensions very successfully and cut my OHs hair and my daughters as well, she is ulta fussy but is so pleased with what I do for her she won't go to a hairdressers.
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future
  • as a bloke, i benefit from cheap haircuts with the slight downside that these are every 2-3 weeks.

i have recently been paying £12.50 for this pleasure, which i thought was a good £2 too expensive but the next barbers is at least twice that in petrol away.

today i found out the price has now increased to £14 !!

    £14 !!! i may open a barbers !!

Yes it's a rip-off, isn't it? Cutting our own hair is a great idea.

As a female, the most I have ever paid for a haircut was £80. This seems a shocking amount, but I was so desperate to find an OBEDIENT hairdresser who would actually A. cut off the length I asked and no more, and B. cut my hair the style I asked for and using the tecniques I requested, that I went to a posh salon and booked with the head stylist.

And did she? Well, no. Not really..

And I didn't even get a coffee, either.
  • the door free bottles of beer at this barbers, which i am yet to take advantage of.

at £14 i may stay a while after and sink a few !
