Is there any particular reason why you need a laptop? You are going to get a much faster desktop PC for that price. If you are going to be using it for gaming you are better off getting a desktop - any laptop that is going to cope with the rigors of things like the Sims 2 which is pretty low in its requirements are going to be getting on for £1k and you would need to keep upgrading. Generally desktops (except for bargain basement where you can't upgrade) have more capacity to upgrade.0

I go along with raeble on this....no way will you get much ( if any ) performance from a laptop with that spec if you try and play with any recent game...on-line or otherwise.
Don't get me wrong...nice price for a basic laptop i.e. internet/ homework etc...but MOST DEFINITELY NOT a games machine!!
