I'm not a Microsoft basher or a conspiracy theorist but if you read the info for the anti-phishing tool it says:
By downloading and using this add-in, website addresses will be sent to Microsoft to be checked against a list of reported Phishing websites.
Interesting to note that a lot of the reason people use the antispyware programs is to stop programs passing on data about them and their computer!!0
