                    Hi there all
not sure if this is the correct place to post but does anyone have any ideas for us?
My ds1 (aged 4 and a half) - the half is important y'know!! came home yest with a letter saying that the PTA are taking photos next Tues for the school calendar and it would be nice if the children could come in dressed as either Farmers or Farm animals for the day!
Now I dont know when the photos will be taken, I presume they will be in the costumes all day - so wanted something that would be easy for him to get to the loo in etc - oh and hes not really into "dressing up" so an animal is prob out of the question.
Have thought along the lines of jeans, check shirt, straw hat, wellies (tho not all day for those) for a farmer- anyone got any ideas to pad it out a bit?? Dont mind making/buying a few bits as we've got a few days to sort it out. Tried googling it but nothing really came up - any help gratefully rec'd!
Cheers Sal

It sounds like you have it covered . All I can think of to add would be a waistcoat perhaps. Does he have any stuffed farm animals he could take along? . All I can think of to add would be a waistcoat perhaps. Does he have any stuffed farm animals he could take along?

perhaps a plastic farm animal if being a farmer (if he won't get upset at it being lost)
Or make a paper hat with a farm animal face on (can just be loop of card round top of head like a crown with paper plate stuck on) - that can be taken off easily if he doesn't like it!0

How about giving him a small sack of spuds or sprouts or a cabbage or carrots to carry? Or a toy lamb if he'd be up for it ? Put some mud on his wellies ?
Personally I'd be tempted to stick him in a sheet with a tea towel on his head and a lamb under his arm, which would also come in handy for the Nativity play !................. ....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 ....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0
