Discounts for Cadets (ok, so not strictly military!)

HI, for those of you who are in the AIr Cadets, you should usually be able to get around about a 10% discount on some stuff with the cadet record of service book. This used to work in Millets and usually works in those shops that sell military-type stuff.. the type that sells sets of combats etc... Either way, its always worth a try. I dont know if this would work for sea or army cadets, but its worth asking... Sometimes works at other places too! (I'm not encouraging you to try and con people into thinking that you are in the military, but some companies do offer discounts to cadets, especially the places that sell stuff that cadets use, like camping stuff and cam cream etc!)
