Hi
Thanks to you I have found the folders but dont have exel, is there any other applications I can use ?0 -
So did you have Folder List checked in the OE, View, Layout options as per the previous thread? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Dbxtract is the usual method of retrieving your emails from Outlook Express' .dbx files. You can get the program here: http://www.321download.com/under100/page2.html it's freeware! There are instructions as to its use here: http://www.updatexp.com/tip23.html Though there is an updated payware version on the home site: http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx for $5 USD
Another method would be to install Mozilla Thunderbird, have it import your emails and point the loader to the old .dbx files. Of course, OE doesn't recognise the files to reimport them back to OE. That would be too easyyou shall need one of the utilities listed at the bottom of this page: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Export_mail_into_Outlook_(Express)_or_Apple_Mail
Also you can also see how much space you have "wasted" according to OE if you goto: Outlook Express, Tools, Options, Maintenance - Clean Up Now... (press the button) there are then several options to choose from. Read the piece of text beside each button and make your choice. At least this way prevents OE from making the choice for you.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
I have never heard of Opera before, can you tell me more?0
