Hi
not sure if im on the right forum.........
my husband has had the citb levy taken from his wages even though he has not signed any forms giving authority which we have now found out is unlawful, he has left thst contractor now so we have decided to reclaim all the money that has been stopped. has anyone any idea how we go about this i have already reclaimed bank charges but obviously will need a different letter altogether.
many thanks in advance for any ideas

Yes they are unable to take things that like without consent.
Best thing to do is go to your local citizens advice they will help you claim back and even help with the letter. they are very helpful in my local one anyway. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Was your OH employed or a sub-contractor?
Either way do you not have payslips/CIS23 documents that show what was deducted?
If you have then use them as evidence and use the small claims court
HTH[strike]Debt @ LBM 04/07 £14,804[/strike]01/08 [strike]£10,472[/strike]now debt free:j
Target: Stay debt free0 -
Yes he was a sub contractor but the contractor never put the citb levy deducted on the payslips we asked every month for him to do this ......but he never did0
