yes, the other stuff I mentioned is clean now on reboot (some were temp files and may have gone on shutdown)

    download ccleaner

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

and install it , unticking the box to install the toolbar , and run it to delete ALL the trash thats built up in the system

    go to

    www.windowsupdate.com

and make sure you do the Service Pack 3 and any other updates that are needed to close down any security holes ans amke sure you have automatic updates turned on

If ALL come back clean its looking pretty good :D

Next job is changing all the IMPORTANT passwords over (Make them pretty tough nuts to crack)
The VERY best passwords have a mixture of characters, numbers and letters in - such as A!b"C£1$d%E^f&2*G(HI)3-J=kl4m. Of course, no sane person could easily remember that password! :D

I can remember passwords which have random letters easier than numbers, for some reason. Add some numbers here and there, which you won't forget, and you have a decent password. Even if you have a word, and change the letters around and add some numbers, like so:
    notepad 123456 > ntpdoea > n12tp34do56ea
Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.
