    Yes, it is them.

Hundreds of us have been on about this in various places for over a week.

Dreadful difficulty accessing Yahoo in the first place, and getting your mail from them near on impossible.

Heaven above knows what - if anything - they are doing about it. For sure, they ain't telling their customers on their website, which shows what contempt they hold us in.

2 test emails sent yesterday from Yahoo to a Virgin Media (ntlworld.com) email address - neither have arrived, not even in the NTL spam folder.
  • I'm having major probs too - I emailed myself some research from uni for a 2000 word assignment I need to do this weekend, and cannot access. On the odd occasion that I don't get the white screen, there is a message from Yahoo saying it is a problem on the client (ie my) side and to try cookie clearance etc. As I have tried both Firefox and IE and I'm not the only one with probs, this is obviously not the case. Arrrrrrrrgh!!

Anyone know what Yahoo are doing to fix yet???

I too have had problems all week, the only way I seem to be able to log in is via the freecycle.org web site, but even then sometimes the pages are blank.

A tip: try logging in alternatively via the main www.yahoo.co.uk and then the www.yahoo.com pages: I have found that when com does not work, co.uk may.
  • You know, I tried all of the above to no avail. But it seems to be working now, yay!

Have you tried accessing your email via POP3 or IMAP? If you have the settings for the yahoo email servers you could get your email this way, the webmail login interface is usually on a separate front-end server from the mail servers, if you need any help setting up a POP3 or IMAP connection via Microsoft Mail or Outlook, Thunderbird etc, just ask as myself and many other folk on here will be able to help you. ;)
