This is the phone I bought that you can use a headset with...

The above phone has reasonable sized buttons, has caller display and you can text with it (wish I could remember to use my free texts from BT:o). Has a phone book and is quite simple to use. Some of the phones on the above website are ex-display, it should say if this is the case. Also please note it says the above phone is not compatible with Virgin aka NTL/Telewest.
It comes with a free headset but its the kind you can use with a mobile so I then went searching for an operators headset and struck lucky with a bargain Plantronics one in Maplins at £20 but sadly the same headset is quite pricey now.
You can find a similar one on this website for £19.95..

I also got a pair of Motorola phones that have a headset plug that are compatible with the BT phone. If you are looking at phones just check down the side to see if there is a little rubber plug that can be removed to put a headset in to.
