Setting up old connection on new PC

Hi there,
I wonder if someone can help me? I have been using the free internet package from orange for the past year and a half.
I have just purchased a new Desktop PC and i am really struggling to get the internet to work on it!
To compound matters i no longer have the drivers for my modem (speedtouch 330). I think i have managed to get it installed by downloading them from the manufacturers website.
I have no idea how to set up the connection to get the internet running!
It was sold as a broadband package but when i sign in it is displayed as Dial up connection?
I have my user name and my connection password if that helps?
