Hello!
I have recently discovered barclaycard (platinum flexi) have changed their rules regarding paying your balance in full. Normally a credit card payment cycle is over a 28days/1 month cycle. However when I paid my august balance in full due by 3rd September, I received my next bill due on the 23rd September. When I queried this with barclay card they told me, if a customer cleared a balance their next bill would be due after 20 days, making two payments due in a month. When I queried if this was just, given that people usually get paid monthly, and it would catch them out!!!!I was advised to take up the matter with head office, and write a letter. I am just wondering if this is fair practice and service, and if anyone else has had this experience.

thanks for this i have just paid my (large) balance in full - fully expecting to be put on taking me up to the balance paid date. but i have just checked my payment date and it has moved forward a week... clearly they hope you will not ralise and make a 'tecnically' late payment so as they can sting you for more. untill your post i would have paid the interest on the usual date - i did not even check.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
