Do Warm Front have door to door reps?

Just had a man who said he worked for Warm Front, and that if I did not take up insulation advice he was giving I would be surchaged on my council tax.
He had a leaflet for a particular firm.
Sounded a con just to get business, and when I challenged him he went away.
Anyone else had simular approaches from someone saying they are from Warm Front?

Sounds dodgy to me...they may have door to door people, but they shouldn't threaten you with surcharges.
I would phone your local council tomorrow and report it to them. Older people may be intimidated into buying something overpriced.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
No warmfront do not do door to door sales. They are a government backed scheme and cannot do door to door canvassing[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
