Hi!
My son has a Dell Latitude 100L laptop.
He was using it to watch DVDs on the train on the way up and it was working fine. However when he tried switching it on here then nothing whatsoever happens. No fans, no LEDs, no whirring discs ... nothing.
I've checked the PSU with a meter and that's producing some voltage (19v). I've tried removing all the bits which will come out and no joy. Has anyone got any bright ideas? How I can get this laptop up and running again?
Many thanks
Kevin

Battery LED come on when it's plugged into the mains ?
Might be a pin for the power lead connector on the motherboard that has broken off = new one needs to be soldered on.0
