Keeping Cash at Home

I have heard today that house burglaries are suddenly on the increase due to criminals thinking that people are keeping their cash at home due to the present economic crisis.

Have to say it made me think!

My small brain thinks like this.... banks goes bust = decrease in trust / confidence = money kept at home = increase in burglaries / crime = uncontrollable country = war? :o

    Mmm!

I'd be more worried about inflation though at the moment and just how much that erodes the value of your money if you're not earning interest on it.

Well with unemployment heading up to 3m by the end of 2009, you can expect a big increase in theft & burglary regardless.

Yes isnt boom and bust capitalism a wonderfull mechanism to keep the system ' needed ' .Wins votes , who cares about illegal wars , were all richer as our homes are valued at # x ' amount.Doesnt matter its all make believe . . . and then we all wake up again........

On money at home keep it simple - buy a fire proof ground safe - dig a hole and concrete it in and cover it,Most theives will be after quick items to sell - tv , video , dvd , jewels etc . . . and safe crackers are unlikely to be climbing through windows in your street.

There will be a an increase in everything ' bad ' in our society for a few years now as our society has been built on lies , greed , war , materialism and very little else .Its a shame people dont learn that what a socity cultivates it reaps.Overt materialism leads to loss of the very thing you worship ' matter ' money .Its a shame a lack of industry has forced the political classes to see borrowing and credit as ' their ' savouir.

A sensible system would see england more productive and less borrowing.Trouble is much industry has died , much uk products are gone and farmings died and so what do we have ???????We have a credit credit system.........but what feeds it ? the bank of england now.........what feeds them ? Gold stocks ?> are there any left ? looks like there could be some gold for sale.........
