For anyone who doesn't know, this comp ended today without a winner. Apparently some people had been fiddling the scores so they're donating the money instead.
I guess it's fair, but it's a bit of a middle finger at all those people (including me!) that spent ages on this competition. I'm a master at the damn thing now!Wins of 2014: *zip*

I'm betting that they weren't going pay out anyway tbh.
If the top scores are fake then they knew about it more than a week ago, yet closed the competition on it's final day. ¬.¬
Sounds like an easy way to try and get eyes on your site with no return.
Also, surely there is some sort of security so that people can't just enter in their own scores.0 -
That's a very good point actually. They should have closed it a lot earlier. On a personal note I stayed up very late last night trying to get my best score. I'm really tired today as a result. Just feels like a kick in the face.Wins of 2014: *zip*

Very true. Why make all the genuine players suffer? Why not just pay out anyway? This was their christmas competition afterall!

Well I've emailed ISP just to check if what they've done is legal or not.
If it is, I don't see why other companies don't pull the same trick.
"We're giving away 100 PS3's!"
---closing date comes---
"Oh, actually, someone cheated, so no-one gets anything."
Sounds like a great plan to me!Wins of 2014: *zip*
