nPower key meter change - should i change supplier
Hi
Moved into house 1st July (6 students), only 2 were living there till october so they decided to change to the key meter. We now want to change back to the standard meter which we all feel will be alot cheaper however we have been told there is a £50 charge to change the electric meter and a £70 charge to change the gas meter.
If we were to change supplier do you think this could be waved?
Thanks in advance

The chance of changing supplier in a rented property with students (no offence) and getting the new supplier to change you away from a safe (in their eyes) payment method to a credit meter would be slim to be honest, let alone waiving any charges.0

Hmmm just wondering if £50 for electric meter and £70 for gas meter sounds right?0

other suppliers will credit check the bill payer or ask for a security deposit that you will get back with interest.
You could phone a few and ask.0
