Sainsburys & 21 month old TWF television

This television was purchased in December 2006. Last week, the integrated Freeview gave up the ghost, so I purchased a £15 freeview box from Argos. DS plugged it in at the weekend, and all was fine. Monday evening, the tv gave up the ghost, and politely told DD to 'go away'. I telephoned a tv engineer yesterday morning, and he told me he thought he knew what the problem was, as he has seen this on many occasions. He told me it would cost £150, as it needed a new chip (or something like that). Anyway, I told him to come round and sort it. I also telephoned Sainsburys CS as I was not best pleased.

TV engineer repaired the machine an I paid him £150. Sainsburys CS telephoned me yesterday afternoon to advise that they would either give me £150 towards a new television or send me a cheque for £150. I graciously accepted the cheque for £150.

Out of interest, which Sainsburys was this? I have a problem with mine and they don`t want to know.
