My other half has just been called by MBNA (he has an A&L card) and offered 0% for 6 months on BTs and cash advances to your bank account". The latter doesn't sound right to me. A&L isn't an SBT card is it? Has anyone else had this offer?

The A&L card is an SBT card, either directly if on old T&C's - or via cheque if on new T&C's.mrsw wrote:My other half has just been called by MBNA (he has an A&L card) and offered 0% for 6 months on BTs and cash advances to your bank account". However, MBNA (and many of it's sub-brands) have recently introduced a 'money transfer' definition (with a high APR and a fee) into their T&C's for new account applicants. I believe some cardholders have been contacted and updated with the new T&C's, so my advice would be to look into this 'cash advance to current account' very carefully.
Does the offer mention a BT fee? I believe the old T&C's stated that they 'may' apply a 2% (max £35) fee, although your special offer may have different T&C's applying to it.0 -
Thanks YB. The BT fee for this offer is 2%, max £50.0
