I have constant pain in the lower back have done since I was 18/19, now 26. The Doctor sent me for Physio, but was making it worse and was given heat rub and Tramadol.
Keep asking to be sent to a specialist, but nothing happens.
The Pysio said something re curves, then further added no spine is the same. But can feeling around the spine tell all, as I would like a scan to rule out any serious issue.
Frustrating as time passes it get worse0 -
my specialist has said point blank an op for me is a waste of time as it wont benefit me at all so its a case of living with constant pain for rest of my life and some idiot behind a desk can make a judgement on me and say im not entitled to any benefits ive 3 broken discs on my spine and cronic sciatica and recently put on medication for depression ive never been so low in my whole life id give up any benefits for rest of my life to just wake up 1 morning and not be in agony but hey thats life0

This is interesting reading.
My wife have sciatica with a disc completely gone aswell as sevear obstructive sleep apnea, type-1 diabetes millitus, thyroid problems, depression incl history of selfharming and panic attacks. I gave up the last 2 years to care full time for her and when her DLA came up for renewal we filled the form and we got dropped from medium care and low mobility to low care and no mobility. We are appealing but its timeconsuming and unless it gets cleared up soon my wife will be housebound again.
I would give years off my own life just to give my wife one day without pains.0
