Please stop attempting to bully the OP to post the name of the company involved.

As she has now suggested that legal action may result from the matter she posted about, it is probably wise at this time she remain schtum. :)

How dare you accuse me of bullying. And who do you think you are to instruct other members? Use the report button if you are misguided enough to think I have strayed from acceptable etiquette (I haven't - you have).

There is no wiseness or legal necessity in staying dumb - and actually its that quality in others that is the reason she's in this position. Read the MSE standard again "Consumer Revenge" - not "Consumers Keep Quiet About Getting Screwed Over."

As for legal action, more like legal schmaction. The OP will never take legal action. Why? Well if you had an ounce, nay a nanogram, of legal skill you would have worked it out by now.

    UH?

What exactly is going on here????

Halo, I can assure you I will take this to the Small Claims Court, so I don't quite know what anyone has supposed to have 'worked out' by now!

As for not naming the company, I haven't deliberately refused to name it ever , but I certainly won't be bullied into doing so by you or anyone else.

This company was recommended to me for its excellent customer services (believe it or not!), so I made a decision not to name names until I started action to recover my money.

    Get over it!

First of all you wont take and you wont be able to take legal action. I'll let you realise why as i certainly wont be bullied by you or anyone else into giving you advice on this issue.

Secondly yes you're quite right, in the homer simpson school of thought, they must have excellent customer service for you to be contemplating legal action. D'oh!

    Consumer revenge? Not quite.

Today, I have received an email from the company, refunding my P&P.
As the email does not specify how much it is refunding, I don't yet know whether it has included my return costs or not.
I do wonder how long they would have ignored me if I had not threatened the Small Claims Court
