My USB stick is broken !

Hi All
I have a 4 gig removable usb stick , for some reason i can open everything on it but i cant delete anything , it tells me that the file is unreadable or corrupted
So basically the stick is full and i cant delete anything off it , or transfer anything off it !
Has anyone got any idea what i can do with it !?

    If you can open everything on it then why can't you open each file then save it to your PC

    Have you tried running chkdsk on it from a command prompt? You need to be a bit careful with this, especially if using 'autofix', but it might be helpful.

    If you can copy files off the stick then backup everything to your PC and format the stick.
