If the average house price now is circa £170k(Haliwide), where do you think they will be in 2 years time?
note: this is justa query thread, not an essay-answers-only thread. Just numbers. Ok?
I'll start at £155k.

I think around 150-155k national average. This is a total guess but I cannot see prices rising within the next two years. more falls then a stagnant market I think.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

£100K.
It wasn't that long ago you could by a decent three bedroom terrace for £50-60K.
The problem is our collective mindset has become used to seeing these places at £150K and it's hard to remove that from the thought process.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Not at all hard for anyone who remembers them at those earlier prices.
What I find hard to picture is how some hovel in a grotty area could be asking a quarter of a million pounds!
That's serious money, if you actually plan to repay the debt by real graft. It's the replacement of real values based on real worth by monopoly money that I just can't get my head round.0
