Can anyone help? My ignition key has got stuck in my car. I have a Ford Escort 96 model and the key has been stuck for some time. Apparently there was trouble on this with previous owner. Does anyone know if this would be a failure on a MOT and if so roughly how much would it cost to get remedied. Thanks.

I would be more worried about the car being knicked....
But other than that - no idea!

Tried a touch of WD40 yet?
Could be dirt build up on the moving parts or just dried out lock parts.
Or a worn out key. Try the above to get it out, then hot foot it down to a Ford dealer to see how much a key will cost.
Do take evidence with you that you are the keeper/registered owner of the car or they wont serve you.The more I live, the more I learn.
