Hi
I have warm air central heating and getting fed up with immersion heater (which i run overnight on economy 7) which does not supply enough hot water. Get two showers out of it which is useless when family are visiting. Can I have a combi boiler just for hot water and have you any idea of the price? Or is there a better system?
Thanks for your help (i previously inserted this thread in credit cards - whoops!)

I am no expert on Immersion Heaters.
But was wondering how much cost benefit you really are gaining from running the heater overnight? With this I mean every night you need to fully heat a water tank which could be stone cold. But if the left the heater on all the time it will only need to use power to keep the water at the right temperature.
I might be talking rubbish, but would be interested if you/anyone else has any "expert" views??0 -
get an electric shower for less than 100 quid. much more effecient.
if you really want a combi boiler , then install a complete CH system. far better than your old warm air system.Get some gorm.0 -
