Icelandic Banks

My brother lives in Guernsey which is part of the UK and not England so he is not covered under the measures to protect his savings. Jersey is covered but Guernsey is not and he may well have loss EVERYTHING he had in an Icelandic bank.

Can anyone offer any advice? Please?

Thank you

Olivia

The FSCS is for the UK, not just England. Of course, The Channel Islands are not part of the UK, which is where the problem lies. The Jersey scheme is, I believe, separate to the UK FSCS.

Philk's is the link you need. Good luck.
