Nominee Accounts - Voting Rights?

Hi, I have some Lloyds TSB shares held in a Selftrade nominee account. I want to vote against the proposed rescue of HBOS but I'm unsure if I get a vote? Do people who have nominee accounts get a vote? And if so how? Thanks for any info

I know people who have paper share certificates get the voting form in the post. I'm not sure about nominee accounts, maybe you lose your ability to vote in those circumstances which does sem very unfair

In certain circumstances you can get voting rights and even attend the AGM for the free eats and drinks. Contact Selftrade, and they'll tell you how to get permission.
