    Hi HT

Just a word of advice, Lloyds only give you a cashcard initally and you can only use it in their cashpoints, it won't dispense from anyone elses, its a right royal pain in the rear. They have recently upgraded my card to give me a visa debit, but if I were you i'd still open an account with co-op as you can use it anywhere but it is only an electron card. I actually have both of these accounts and pay my bills from Lloyds and spend from co-op - oh and the co-op has a much better online facility than the lloyds which is a toy town version of online banking and very difficult to log into loads of silly things to remember.
  • Howdy Misspoppy!

I actually got an visa debit card from lloyds so no bigge there. Funnily when I went in to open the account I had to INSIST on a cash account as my credit rating is (was:o ) so good, they wanted me to take some super duper, all singing, mega account and couldnt understand why I didnt want it! Funny fight really! But i won! sort of!

I did notice the logging on bit can be tricky, especially if you forget your details within half an hour like I did! :rotfl:

Thanks for looking out for me though flower (geddit?)

no problems do check where you can use the card though
  • Howdy all,

I return with some confused tidings! Some of you will be aware that I have very recently begun DMP proceedings with CCCS (proceedings as in: sent of letters to creditors and statements etc to CCCS) Now, it would seem that the payslip I sent was incorrect, the "New Tax Code" discussed with payroll was a mere blip. I am not as "well off" as I thought and have just emailed those nice folks at CCCS to let them know. My confusion comes from the apparent inability to get my pay correct from a department known as "payroll" Still, musn't grumble to much, my department barely does at its title says it should either!:rotfl:
On the plus side I have sold over £50 of stuff on ebay on the last fortnight! Rock On!

    See ya'll later

Nice to hear of your "progress" but I guess it's 3 steps forward 1 back until it's up and running. Glad the ebay has gone well for you.

  • Howdy,
Things are indeed progressing. Spoke to the folks @ cccs who told me they had set everything up, sent me my welcome pack etc. The luvlee lady even said it was no problem that my pay was messed up AND that I had woefully underestimated certain areas of my budget!
    Progress!

    Later all
