No worries honeybun - that happens all the time. (and more lately I think)
Just think of it as a delay not a roadblock.

Hi Honky Tonk,
I havent read through all the thread, but, I saw the bit about you saying youve contacted the Co-op about opening a bank account and its been referred.
Can I just ask if you asked them for a cash saver account if its a basic bank account your looking for? The reason I ask is my sis is having money probs, and I advised her to change her bank account, and suggested teh co-op cash saver, when she phoned them, she just asked for a basic current account, and they told her it would need to be referred. I then told her to call them back and make sure it was the cash saver account they were looking at for her, but, it wasnt. When she told them it was the cash saver account she was looking for, they gave her a decision straight away.

I read your post and ran off to cll them....apparently I did apply for the basic account and its still referred. They assure me this is procedural and I'll hear from them within a week. I am now churning over my a cunning plan! I am thinking leave my "current" current account alone till I get paid (cancelling DD's of course) then when new account arrives swiftly transfer all meager remaining funds and hope cccs letter doesnt kick in till after! Suicidal plan or simply the most audacious idea ever! I think I need a drink.:beer:LBM 14/10/08 £40k+ DFW Nerd # 1075Officially a Long Hauler #149:D0

hi again,
If youve told them its the cash saver account, im sure everything will be okay. When my sis applied, as I said they told her it would have to be referred, and when she told me this about 3 days later, I told her to call them, so, it had probably already been referred and when she called them back they were able to give her an answer.
Ive never had dealings with the CCCS, but, ive only heard good things about them, and its from this site. I told my sis to contact them unfortunately, she didnt, and she went to one of these companies that charge you:rolleyes:.
im sure everything will be okay, and as another poster said, you and your OH should be enjoying time with yourselves, and your wee one.

 Ooh get you honey - it's all moving onwards and upwards!
You're sadly right that this is quite often the tricky stage when creditors may try all sorts of tricks to test your mettle, but stand firm and check everything they tell you with us and CCCS and you can't go wrong!
I'm glad you're making progress honeybun,

PS Some nice smiley action happening there hon! :dance:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
