I got my free camera today and book. Delivery was by registered mail but took 2 weeks to get to me (not delivered by the Royal Mail). But the camera doesnt work and they say I have to order another book so I have arranged for a return. Not such a good deal.
yeah the cameras prett crap but what do expect for free?
How much did you save on your book though? I saved £8 so the long delivery time was worth it really.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Got my book and camera yesterday. Nothing seems damaged. Haven't tested out camera.
still no sign of book / camera here, it's an xmas present as well! can anyone log into their account online? i have had no joy for days now. oh and how is the stuff delivered? a courier firm or just some guy at your door?0 -
Not sure about delivery - they left mine via a card saying "round the back" - which involved them going through 2 gates, moving the bin, 2 bikes and climbing over our logpile.
No problems logging in here - try deleteing your temporay internet files, history and cookies.
Addionally run a spyware check on your pc if that fails.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

This may have been posted independantley but in case you missed it or its new....
Talking of free digital cameras, subscribe to WHICH magazine on a 30 day free trial and receive a great palm sized digital camera, great for a beginner or younger user I thought and am giving it to my 13 year old nephew for xmas so save a bit there too.
https://subscribe.which.net/cgi/which_ext.pl?source_code=J1AJ04&roi=5
They do ask for your bank details but no monies are taken until 30 day period is over.
You can simply stop the direct debit going out thus cancelling the subscription and by email to editor@which.co.uk
Camera came 3 days after signing up and I cancelled same day in case I forgot.
I hope my links work, be patient, novice at work!
:P
FYI to set up free trial by direct debit phone 0845 307 4000 (Calls charged at local rate). Free trial ends on 1st of month and always get at least full calendar month.

Well my parcel finally arrived! perfect condition and nothing missing. The 17 days delivery well thats another matter, plus they want me to make another order? Oh well teach myself not to jump blindly into "bargains" posted on here. As for the digital camera, i would be embarassed to give that to anyone it's so bad.0

"Usually delivered within 5 to 7 working days" from the website. LMAO0

The company who delivers this stuff is Parcelnet
http://www.parcelnet.co.uk/
here is an excerpt from the only good review i found!
"The only disadvantage is you are not able to track your parcel. It turns up when it does. Which can be a problem as someone needs to be in to sign for the receipt of the goods.
Another thing I don't like is if you are not in they often leave the goods with someone in your street or behind the gate. They then card you to tell you where your goods are. They don't actually take it away and ask you to re arrange another suitable time for delivery or tell you where you can collect the goods from. They are the only two minor problems I have."
hope this helps anyone still waiting on delivery0 -
