  • I have just tried this and it works, it adds your selected order at checkout and shows two extra items in your trolley, one is a Bol info pack and one is a Digital Camera worth £29.99 both are charged at £0.00 as free items for ordering.

Tried to order the Who do you think you are book which goes with the BBC 2 Series they had it at £5.5- a saving of £7.--.

Unfortunately they don't accept my Solo Card but do accept most others.

Great Post all the same though. :D

    Thanks ;D

This may have been posted independantley but in case you missed it or its new....

Talking of free digital cameras, subscribe to WHICH magazine on a 30 day free trial and receive a great palm sized digital camera, great for a beginner or younger user I thought and am giving it to my 13 year old nephew for xmas so save a bit there too.

    https://subscribe.which.net/cgi/which_ext.pl?source_code=J1AJ04&roi=5

They do ask for your bank details but no monies are taken until 30 day period is over.

You can simply stop the direct debit going out thus cancelling the subscription and by email to editor@which.co.uk

Camera came 3 days after signing up and I cancelled same day in case I forgot.

I hope my links work, be patient, novice at work!

I've moved this thread over here as you have to place an order with BOL to get the 'freebie' digital camera and then place a subsequent order to fulfil the terms of your BOL membership :)

Still a good offer if you were going to order some books for xmas etc. :)
  • CCML - Can you post a few details about the camera please to give everyone an idea of it's spec.

Just did an order. Just to confirm that you receive NO information about the free camera until you've submitted the final phase of the order. You'd think they'd publicize it a little...

I was also surprised to see how limited their stock list was. They didn't have any of my unusual want-to-buy list that Amazon stocks. And delivery time is slow at 5-7 days.
  • Just to confirm this is for NEW customers only. As I placed an order from my account - no camera. Then saw another xmas present so created a new account and hey presto free camera appeared in basket ;D

Ordered a book for £5.99 that was £9.99 at Amazon and over £11 with Tesco. Free delivery too. Got camera included. Don't know if it will be any good, but seems pretty good deal to me.

Has anybody who ordered as a new customer received anything yet?

I placed an order on 25th November for Money Saving Diet (with free camera etc) - money was taken that day, items despatched on 1st December and still nothing has turned up?

I've emailed them but not had a response as yet.

I waited 2 months for an order to arrive and in the meantime I received a couple of the usual 'sorry for any inconvenience, this order has now been dispatched' emails. The service is pretty rubbish, but it is very cheap. Keep on at them, they may try and say it has been delivered, so check no-one else could have signed for it
