Morning, all.
When you see items listed twice, it's for three reasons:
1: Lots of stock - rather than leave an item up for all eternity, boffer sometimes takes an item down before it sells out in order to stick something new up (otherwise people would get bored). They then relist the remaining stock later on.
2. They also do it to give people a chance to buy one. Not everyone is awake or around at say midnight to buy an item, so they split the stock and list at two completely different times of the day. This is out of fairness to customers
3. When people pay by paypal, the stock control system they have deducts the item from the stock list before paypal payment is complete. Some people change their mind at this point and don't pay. This then leaves boffer with more stock which had previously been accounted for as sold, but payment didn't go through. If there's enough stock left over for this reason, they relist it.
(Those are the three reasons they'v given on their forums, anyway).In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
