  • A quick Google on this model shows up quite a few technical problems people had with it from when Aldi's were selling it.

    So whats the longest time this would record for on the HD??? Just thinking it could be used to record a cctv camera, but would want it to last a good few days.

    It's not a bad little piece of kit for £30 so long as you need it, iirc it is a chinese make but then most of them are these days anyway. If you only have a dvd player/recorder at the moment I'd recommend you replace it with one of the hard drive models it makes so much difference. The one we picked up the other night was superior to this but then again the price tag was higher too.

    160gb should give you around 24hrs if I'm correct, (If not I daresay someone will be along to correct me) I have an 80b in the bedroom which holds around 12hrs

  • Oh I'm worried now. Just bought the Tevion DVD HDD recorder and have only just looked at the reviews. :eek: I hope it works ok when I use it! I should have held out for a different one but couldn't resist the £30 price tag.
