right..........sigh.........better start AQA'ing I guess. I've done a pitiful amount this month because of all the teaching prep. work (which I don't get paid for). At this rate the bank will be bouncing my mortgage next month - and it won't be in error this time!!

I had an email about an hour ago from a recruitment company wondering if I'd be interested in being put forward for a Comms Manager job. The salary was drool-icious but the idea of going back to PR and Media just left me cold . Sigh. I do sometimes wonder why I'm putting myself through this carp salary malarkey and working all these jobs all these hours and STILL only just scraping enough together each month in the name of a 'new career'.....

It is difficult BB, you have my sympathy. I keep seeing offers for going back into Sales Management....but then I think of all the t*ssers that I used to work with....
I even attended a presentation witha worldwide Insurance Co....it took about 10 minutes at the pre-presentation coffee for me to hold on to my rising vomit and get the hell out!

  • Evening all,
Well, took these few days off sort my house out for the weekend and it's ended up a bloomin BOMB site! I've managed to ALMOST empty the rental place and have decided to get rid of LOADS! If I havent missed it in 2 months since Scott and i got back together, surely I don't really need it! We are going to do a massive carboot I think and then when I'm off half term, I am going to ebay everything else-I have absolutely loads of crap. Anyone want a wedding dress? Worn once (ok, a few times as I wore it round the house loads after the wedding) and in an ok state?

I just nipped to Argos cos both kids need new school bags. There's a bargain set of bags posted on Grabbit (god I hate/love that board  )

Anyhoo, I reserved online and sent the kids in so I didnt have to pay to park ;)

They got their bags, got in car, and I'd just got on the motorway when DS noticed he's got the wrong flippin bag

I couldnt be arrissed to go all the way back again :o
