It's very good actually. Helps give you an idea why the economy is the way it is. For that reason I'm not worrying about the credit crunch.

Hey all.. big hugs to those in need of them.

Miss S, have a look at the 'Up Your Income' board on here, there's quite a few ideas on there that you can do from home, not sure about the envelope stuffing thing, I had some friends that did it when we were students, but it was very badly paid from what I remember.

I'm supposed to be working hard but am actually trying to compose an email about a job I saw advertised the other day - it was on local job site on Monday but actually closed at 10am that day  Trying to stick together something to see if they'll accept late applications, though I'm not holding my breath!

I've just heard from the recruitment agency...

I didn't get the job I went for on Thursday... :-((

But I do now have 2 interviews tomorrow. Maybe 3rd time lucky for tomorrow afternoon.

I now in the true style of comfort eaters, want to attack a HUGE chocolate bar.

Lucy - Have you asked for some feedback about how the interview went from their perspective? Good luck with the two new interviews.
IA - this will sound corny but always remember that when one door closes another one opens up (usually one behind you but that's life). Finger's crossed things work out find for you.

Wayne's had a phone call from HR where he used to work and they've asked him to go in on Friday afternoon to have a chat (this is the company that virtually said they couldn't afford to pay him what he's worth, so he left). Instead of being all excited about a new job he's asked if tonight we can talk about how it could impact us and what the numbers might mean! More work for me but... at least it means that I don't have to worry about him accepting just because it sounds good but the figures don't add up later (he did this six years ago and it was really hard financially:mad:

hope to be able to lurk around here for a bit... Cat.x
