  • Hmmm, retail's probably ruled out then. What about office cleaning? Or restaurant work?

the grotto at castlecourt were looking for people was decent pay. on jobcentre website
love you lots like jelly tots :o
  • Try HMV - they sometimes run out of hours shifts/evenings at xmas. You may have to work Sundays if you can't do the Saturdays though.
  • Whats wrong with Royal MAil, I worked there for almost a year on a temporary basis, couldnt complain about them, pay was good and even overtime when I wanted. Although you did have to work I suppose

  • What about selling some stuff on the internet and going it alone rather than trying to fit something around what you already have? I sell at fairs and on ebay (despite the fees!) and can do this at weekends and evenings when it suits. Its not guaranteed income right enough, but might be about the most flexible you can get considering your situation which is the same as mine - working full time. What about babysitting/ironing/dog walking?!
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T

Custardy, I had thought about trying to get a temp job with the Royal Mail over Xmas (or before and maybe after that as well the way its going) I have filled in the form on the Royal Mail website. This has come back saying no jobs currently within my area (5 miles of BT5). I have registered with my email address so they can email if any vacancies come up. Does this method of applying actually work ? Sorry to interrupt on your thread Salduck. I am looking for a job in the mornings only. I can only work from 9 - 12 on weekdays. Any other suggestions ? Rgds.
