Bought one of these shrubbers for my MIL
Same thing has happened to hers. Cut out after few minutes. Left it for few hours and hardly anything. Definately faulty. Seems they're not the bargain we thought
Mine is kaput too !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Died during first use...
Have been to T's this morning for a refund...
oh well ..basically exchanged the £5 off voucher for cash so not so bad...in profit at the end of the day..:T
If you have bought one as a pressie though I would check it out first..0 -
May be a silly question, but you have given it a full charge? Mine only had about a minutes charge in it. Charged it over night & just used it for 20 mins, battery still OK.shankley4ever wrote: »Mine is kaput too !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, may be a silly question, but did you unplug the charger from it when you tried. It's got a sensing circuit that detects that the charger is pluged in, even if the mains isn't switched on. This caught me out at first.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -

Mines on charge to try later. If I need to take it back I didn't have a receipt in the bag. Did you need it to refund it and how much did they refund you?0 -
I filled my wheelie bin with bits of bush, all cut off with my shrubber this afternoon, about an hour or so of cutting before the battery started to lose power.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Got one of these myself after seeing it on Hot UK deals for just over £4 after using codes and buying sim for free delivery, plus 75p quidco. Charged it and used it to cut down some bushes and it worked a treat. It won't cut anything really thick, but was no problem with roses etc, well worth getting it.Penny Pinching Pauline0
