    hi,

Jessops do it. They did a good job, can't remember how much it was exactly but I don't think it was that expensive. Having said that this was a few years ago now.

Another suggestion, though to be honest I don't really know how well this would turn out. If you can play them on a proper screen with a digital camcorder set up to record it you might be able to get it to a high enough quality and save yourself a few quid.

I remember someone saying they did this on a forum somewhere before and they were happy with the outcome, not sure about it myself.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.

My dad had it done for him as a birthday present a few years ago and the quality was excellent, and I don't remember exactly how much it was, but I think it was around £10.

    Here are some googled companies

I did this myself using a door and a projector!
If you have an 8mm projector maybe it's the cheapest option. I put the projector at the mininum focus distance on the smallest zoom The picture ended up about 20cm wide. This made the picture as bright as possible. Then I used my video camera set as near to the axis as possible as taped it. The results were brilliant!

    Thanks guys for your help.
I'm going to go contact the sites that CIS has provided and phone Jessops in Glasgow, make a price comparison and take it from there.
The old projector lamp seems to run very hot and the film was "smoking" so don't want to run it through the projector in case film gets damaged so will leave it to the professionals.
    Thanks again.
