US Spec Digital Camera - should I be worried?

I have ordered a Sony Camera from a UK based website & I have been sent a US\Canadian version.

The retailer has told me that the camera is exactly the same, except the charger. They have offered to send me a genuine Sony UK charger at no charge. Therefore, I will end up with a UK & a US charger.

Should I be worried given that it isn't a UK version? Basically, what happens if it is faulty?

I believe that the retailer is responsible for the first 12 months!?

Your help will be appreciated!

Richard.

What's the name of the Company?
    The man without a signature.

I have paid on my credit card, so I am covered by section 75 if the company goes out of business (it cost over £100)!

I'm not sure whether to send it back & request a refund. It was a good price however!

    Its called a grey import.
You'll probably find the UK warranty isn't valid.
You'll only find this when it develops a fault in 9 months.

Think of the saving as your own insurance. If you think the camera will break put the saving to one side and get saving for a new one.
