Car insurance DD whilst bankrupt?

I would check your policy details about being BR. Some companies, as we know (!) are not BR friendly and would use any excuse not to pay out in the event of a claim. My policy details (the fine print ones!) said nothing about BR, so I never mentioned it to them.

any info on who are BR hostile in the car insurance game?

I guess if you try to get quotes online you may find out but not sure on that.

Think for now I will stick with Zurich as when I was unfortunate enough to have someone hit my up the backside they were great and I was driving my sons car. It was dealt with quickly and I cannot complain I guess with the amount of my insurance, but maybe I should check around to see if it is a fair price.

i insure through elephant brokers, and there snothign int heir small print about being bankrupt,

im starting to think, applying for a DD ,yeah you'll get denied, but ongoing DD< i think they turn a blind eye so long as the money keeps on coming...
