Honda Accord cdti estate - roofbars

Got a second hand one of the above and three of the ends of the roof bars have fallen off. I literally mean fallen off, though one did come off at speed on the A1 - thankfully there was no-one behind me!

Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone else had had this problem and what they did to solve it, rather than keep buying the trims at £10 each. Tried emailing Honda but email wouldn't go and just haven't got chance to call into a garage at the moment to complain.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

ive seen a lot of honda accord estates with the end covers missing, im guessing it a poor design, get soem from ebay perhaps and stick them on with a bit of silicone so they wont come off so easily.
