Hi, has anyone heard or used this company (Solarwall) before? They are based in york.

They knocked on my door this week offering heavily subsidised cavity wall insulation. Normally i'd be very sceptical about anyone selling anything knocking on my door, but this might be worth looking into.

I know that there was recently discussion in the news about energy companies subsidising home owners to make their homes more efficient. Could it be as a result of this?

They claim it's a mineral wool that's put in and it sounds relatively pain free. Does anyone have any ideas whether this is worth looking into or one to avoid?

I wouldn't buy anything from anyone that knocked on my door offering something, but there are dozens of places doing subsidised insulation at the moment.

Ring your local trading standards office if you want any info on the particular company else just do you own research with Yell.com

They knocked on my door also about a year ago...We had the cavity wall treatment and no regrets. I can't comment on what the current deals may be like and what discounts are available. They have treated alot of properties near to me.
