What do you mean good for texting?

Personally I like the Sony Ericssons - you can add your own words to the dictionary, with punctuation included, and I get excited about sad stuff like that. I also like the phone book interface.

But you might not care about that :D

I also like the phone book interface.

Perhaps they've improved, but my old K750i has the most primitive phonebook imaginable!

One person's favourite is another persons less favourite!

You really need to try some out to see the buttons and interface.

Personally for a small and decent mobile I love the Sony w800s, I have a w810i at the moment and it's great, fully flashed and unlocked, you can do so much with it. Texting is fast, the T9 predictive text is terrific. However its camera isn't super high res, but I have a pro DSLR for pictures, no phone is going to take a decent picture IMO, it's just there for an emergency snap.
I don't use the music function, I have an iPod for that too.

This is the 4th Sony I've had, and I'll definitely have another. Although I don't like the slide out newer models, as the keys are flush to the surface not raised, and for it, it makes texting difficult.

The "best for texting" presumably would be a 'phone with a full keyboard.
