    some yes - especially if you have accidental damage, buts others NO - as excluded even with the extra acc damage element .

    In fairness better to look at your own policy docs or call them.

    Anyway with an excess and likely premium rise for 2/3 years you need to consider if really worth claiming

    It's an ipaq pda mobile cost £349 will they up the premium to such a degree as to claw that back? I never realised they did that .

    As a rough guide you will ,likley find next yrs insurance will cost say 15% more ( with them or if swapping) , then 10% the yr after ,
