Hi there
My ideo has given up the fight for life and I would like to replace it with a DVD Recorder.
I have Sky+ but it would be nice to record and keep some programmes.
Anyone have anyone recommendations for a good buy ?
Thanks

The Sonys well worth the extra dosh

They can almost certainly be found cheaper elsewhere, but I thought youd like to read the reviews first

The Sony's are excellent, if you thumb through some magazines in the newsagents you'll see the ones alienrik mentions win all sorts of awards, one of the current magazines does a comparative review and the Sony wins again.0

I can second this. I've had one of these for about a year and think it's excellent. The 1080p upscaling of regular DVD's and recorded programs is excellent too. My only criticism is that the Freeview receiver is a little poor but seeing as though you have Sky you'll probably never use it. I don't.0 -
Thank you so much, I am will check these out at the weekend.

I have just bought a Panasonic DRM EZ 27 online via Amazon £117. to replace my previous recorder, it has a built in freeview tuner and is really easy to operate very pleased so far, a nice piece of kit"Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0
