Co-op Dividend

Hi,
I think it just depends on the co-op in your area - all of them are slightly different - so check the website for the one in your area. We don't get vouchers. We have a card but don't use it, we just tell the cashier our number when we get to the checkout. Each time you make a purchase, it is recorded against your share number and twice a year your account is credited with your dividend, which is fantastic at 3% of purchases. When the dividend is declared you can draw your money or leave it in your share account as an investment - it all adds up and the co-op is a great shop - very ethical, into fair trade etc and our local shop is only a short walk from my home so by supporting it I am also being environmentally friendly and getting some exercise. Some of it's prices are slightly higher, but all things considered its probably not that different to the less ethically minded supermarkets. Also they have some fantastic offers, including good wines!
